Andy is a second year Engineering student at the University of Virginia. Currently, he is planning on majoring in computer science, but hopes to incorporate his interest in social science in some way. In the lab, Andy is interested in using researching human cognition and decision-making using NLP models. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, and playing chess.

Lydia is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Virginia, pursuing a double major in Economics and Psychology. These focuses are driven by an interdisciplinary interest in human cognition and behavior. In the lab, she is currently exploring decision making and consideration processes. In her free time, she enjoys playing bridge, journaling, and experimenting with film photography.

Andy Wang is a second-year student at the University of Virginia. He is majoring in computer science and is interested in the application of machine learning in the real world. In the lab, he is working on dynamic embedded topic models to analyze brand perception over time. Andy enjoys tea, 80-90s Cantonese & Mandarin Music, and traveling.

Pratik Pandit

Pratik Pandit is a second year computer engineering student at the University of Virginia. An international student from Pune, India, he is intrigued by NLP and behavioural economics. In this interdisciplinary lab, he its gaining experience with NLP models as well as understanding key concepts in consumer psychology. He plans on using these acquired skills later on to perhaps start his own company. Outside of academics, he plays intramural soccer and club table tennis; He enjoys hiking as well as learning about the stock market.
